The annual flurry of Christmas cards—or even the grocery list—will look

beautiful on this memo board. Start with a simple, inexpensive framed

bulletin board. Paint the frame with a diluted wash of three colors of

blue paint mixed with luminescent embossing powder. Cover the cork

with quilted fabric and top with elasticized beaded ribbon and pale

blue ribbon. Slip a holiday greeting into a jeweled frame before gluing

it to the center of the board.
